October 15

Today was our first school day. I woke up very nervious because i didnt know how the school was going to be or how the students were going to receive us. I went to school with Anna and when we arrived everyone was looking us. We went to the main office to meet the other Argentineans because we were going to have breakfast there all together. There were a lot of things to eat, but i just take an orange juice with some fruit. Then the spanish teachers and the directors introduced themselves and they gave us gifts of the school. Before going to our classes we had to go and pick up our ID cards pf the school so we can have lunch with them in the cafeteria.
My first class was of Spanish, so it was very easy for me. We made an exercise of completing the blankets with the correct tense of the verbs. Then i had maths, the exercise they were practising were very similar to the ones we saw so i understood that class very well. At 10:35 the bell rang and we went to the cafeteria because it was our lunch time. Most of the Argentineans have the same turn to eat so we sat all together. When we finish eating we went to our history class and Eduardo also was there. The dollowing subject was religion, which i share with Sofia and her host. Then we had a class where you have to draw things for engineering. Our last class was physics, it was very difficult for me but the students made some exercises and they went to correct them on the front.
When we finished school Anna drove to her house and i had a shower. Coqui with her host and Lucas came over because we were going to see a soccer game while Anna was at her work. So at 4:30 we went to the school again to see the match. When it finished Paul and Helen came to pick me up, Fico also came with us. We went to the supermarcket and then we saw the Blackhawks game. At 8 o clock Anna arrived home and we had dinner. When we finished we went to Hannah's house.
Everyone was there, the Argentineans with their hosts. We had a lot of fun! Some hours later we went back to our house and we went to sleep.

October 14

This morning we woke up at 8:45 and we had breakfast. Anna drove to school and then we went to Michigan City to a big shopping mall with all the group together. We had a lot of fun there trying our clothes and entering to every shop we saw. We had lunch at subway and then we kept on buying things until 5:30. At that time we caught the bus again and we left the shopping mall.
We arrived to school and we went to see a football game, Marist's tied with the other team and after that we went to have dinner to the cafeteria with all the other guys. We stayed there for a while and then we went back home :)

Hoy nos levantamos a las 8:45 de la mañana y desayunamos manzanas con manteca de mani. Anna manejo hasta el colegio y dejamos el auto en el estacionamiento. Desde ahi tomamos un colectivos junto con todo el grupo y los profesores hasta un shopping muy grande que quedaba en la ciudad de Michigan. Nos divertimos mucho ahi comprando cosas con nuestros amigos y entrando a todos los negocios que encontrábamos. Almorzamos en Subway y después nos quedamos dando vueltas hasta las 5:30 que fue cuando nos volvió a buscar el colectivo.
Cuando llegamos al colegio fuimos a un partido de futbol, el equipo del colegio empató 3-3 con los visitantes. Después de eso fuimos a comer pizza a la cafeteria. Nos quedamos hablando un rato con los que estaban ahí y luego volvimos a casa a dormir.

October 13

Today we flew for 12 hours. The first flight was of nine hours to Miami, and two hours later we take another plane to Chicago. When we arrived the yellow school bus was waiting for us outside the airport. It took us to the school amd when we arrived there our hosts were waiting with their families. We got down the bus and everyone started to hug us and say hello.
I met Helen and Paul, Anna's parents. During the way to the house we saw a lot of houses with halloween stuff. There was one that had all the front garden covered with statues. Then we arrived home and we had lunch. After that Anna and i went to buy a pumpkin with her mother. Some hours later we went to Starbucks and i met two aunts of Anna (Helen sisters) and one of her cousins.
At 6:30 we had dinner with the family and then we went to Hanna's house, Coquito's host, because it was her birthday. A lot of their friends were there and Sofia with her host too. We stayed there for some hours and then we came back home to sleep.

Hoy volamos por 12 horas. El primer vuelo fue de nueve horas a Miami, y dos horas después tomamos otro avión hasta Chicago. Cuando llegamos, nos estaba esperando un colectivo amarillo del colegio (los de las peliculas) afuera del aeropuerto. Nos llevó al colegio y cuando llegamos vimos a nuestros hosts esperandonos con sus familias. Bajamos del colectivo y todos nos abrazamos. 
Conocí a Helen y Paul, los papás de Anna. En el camino hasta la casa vimos muchas decoraciones de Halloween, y la que mas me llamo la atención fue una casa que tenia todo el jardin lleno de muñecos y ataudes. Cuando llegamos a la casa comimos algo y después nos fuimos con la mama a comprar una calabaza para decorarla. Después de eso fuimos a Starbucks, donde conocí a dos de las hermanas de Helen y a uno de sus sobrinos.
Estuvimos ahi un rato y volvimos a la casa para cenar. Terminamos alrededor de las 7:30 y nos fuimos a la casa de Hannah que es donde se esta quedando Coquito. Como era su cumpleaños habia varios de sus amigos, y también Sofia. Nos quedamos ahi por unas horas y después volvimos a casa para irnos a dormir.
